Hey team,

Recently invested in a couple of corporate bonds through BondScanner absolutely loved the clean UI and smooth journey.

One thing that’d make life a lot easier, an auto-generated tax report that shows both capital gains and interest income from bonds.
Any plans for this feature?

Thanks for the feedback, @Arav , we completely understand this pain point.

You’re right, since bond income has two different tax components:

  • Interest income (taxed as per your income slab)

  • Capital gains/losses (depending on whether bonds were sold before maturity)

We’re happy to share that an auto-tax report generator is already on our product roadmap.

Here’s what it’ll likely include:

  • Summary of all coupon (interest) payouts with corresponding TDS.

  • Realized capital gains or losses on secondary market transactions.

  • Exportable format (PDF + Excel) ready for ITR upload.

  • Integration with KYC and transaction history for accuracy.
