Do we get any notification when bond payouts happen or do you just have to keep checking your account?
I didn’t get anything last time, just saw the amount credited randomly
Usually there’s no separate alert, it just gets credited. You might see an email sometimes depending on the issuer.

You can track expected payout dates from the bond details. That helps more than relying on notifications.

You have to check your bank account yourself. No bond platform can actually tell you that since the payouts are processed by the issuer and the trustee keeps a check on them.
Someday when Bondscanner implements their own DP as well as a wallet system like what Groww has, then they can open a demat account and link it to the wallet. The payouts could come into the wallet which they can track as well. Let’s see if they build this or not.
I have been using other platforms and they don’t have it at the moment except a notification system that says “Your payout is due today, keep an eye out for your account” yada yada
