How do I change my Demat account on BondScanner?

I recently switched brokers and now have a new Demat account. I want to update this new Demat account on my BondScanner profile so that future settlements happen there. Even after checking the demat section in the profile tab, I can’t see an option there. Pls help

If you would like to update the Demat account linked to your BondScanner profile, you can do so by sharing a few details with our support team. Mail us at support@bondscanner.com. Once we receive the required information, we will initiate the verification and update process.

Here is what we will need from you:

  1. Your 16-digit Demat Account Number (you can find this in your broker app).

  2. The Demat account must be in your own name and should not be a joint Demat account.

  3. The Demat account should be linked to the same PAN that you used while completing your KYC on BondScanner.

Once we receive these details, our team will verify them and share a form for Aadhaar e-sign so that you can confirm the update.

A couple of things to keep in mind:

• The updated Demat account will be used for all future settlements on your BondScanner account.
• All payouts will continue to go to the bank account linked with that Demat account.
• Until the new Demat account is verified and updated, all investments will continue to settle in your currently registered Demat account.

Once the update is completed, you will receive a confirmation email from us.
