Made an investment yesterday, payment went through instantly but order is still showing as processing. Is this normal or should I be concerned?
yeah this phase is confusing af first time, feels like money gaya but kuch mila nahi 
Processing just means settlement hasn’t completed yet. Funds are received but allocation is pending.
but how long does this usually take? it’s been almost a day
1 to 2 days is normal i think, depends on when you placed the order also
This is expected. Payment confirmation happens instantly, but bond allocation and settlement take time. Typically it completes within 1 to 2 working days.

i remember i checked it like 5 times a day thinking it’ll magically update faster 
One small detail, if the order is placed closer to market cut-off or outside working hours, it may spill into the next business day. That sometimes makes it feel longer than it actually is.
